THE CHEMISTRY and DYNAMICS of FIREADE 2000

Although them will be many people browsing this website who know all about the chemistry of fire, we make no apologies for describing the basics for the benefit of those who are less familiar.

Historically, the chemistry of a fire was based on what was commonly known as "the fire triangle". In the early 1980's, a fourth component known as "Free Radicals" was identified. For fire propagation to continue all four components of the Fire Tetrahydron must be present and to suppress a fire one or more of these components must he eliminated.

Compared with other products. FireAde 2000 more effectively attacks the entire Fire Tetrahedron by:

Reducing Heat - by introducing a temperature gradient caused by latent heat of evaporation and by simple volume cooling.

Eliminating Oxygen - by providing a low density barrier layer.

Removal of the Fuel - by chemical encapsulation of hydrocarbon molecules to form a non-flammable emulsion.

Interruption of Free Radical Chain Reaction - by absorbing the energy and thereby the heat created when these uncharged molecular fragments collide with other molecules,

Only FireAde 2000 is capable of tackling every facet of this structure. Water, traditional foams, powders, gels and gasses used for fire fighting all fall short and have accompanying problems related to pollution, property damage and clean-up issues.
